On behalf of our Executive, Operational Support and Commisioners, we wish to notify our membership and any other Canadian viewers, who may visit our site, that in wake of the COVID -19 Pandemic the organizers of the Highland Games and Festivals which have either Cancelled or Postponed their events scheduled for 2020.
The following are events and their locations, at this point, which have decided to make a change:
Victoria Highland Games (May 16-17), Victoria British Columbia will be postponing to a date later this summer.
Saskatchewan Highland Games (May 16-17), Regina, Saskatchewan have cancelled their event.
Mosaic. A Festival of Cultures (June 4, 5 & 6) Regina, Saskatchewan have cancelled their event.
Fergus Highland Festival (August 7-9) Fergus, Ontario has been cancelled. The 75th anniversary will held next year.
We will continue to monitor for cancellations and postponements and will update this post as required. Please take care of yourself and your families by heeding the recommendations of the medical and scientific experts.
